Alexandra Daddario to appear in “San Andreas 2” and “Lost Transmissions” soon

If blue eyes could be weaponized … Actress Alexandra Anna Daddario was born on March 16, 1986 in New York City to Christina, a lawyer, and Richard Daddario, a prosecutor. Her brother is actor Matthew Daddario, and her grandfather was congressman Emilio Daddario (Emilio Q. Daddario), of Connecticut. Fortunately, Daddario chose neither the law nor politics.

Alexandra Anna Daddario is of Italian, Irish, Hungarian, Slovak, German, and English ancestry. Dreams of becoming an actress came very early on in life . Her first job came at age sixteen, when she landed a role on

“All My Children”. Alex co-starred, with Logan Lerman and Brandon T. Jackson, in the role of Annabeth Chase in the Percy Jackson movies, “Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief » (2010) and “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters » (2013), which were based on Rick Riordan’s best-selling teen books. Alexandra became better-known in the aughts when she starred as Blake Gaines in the earthquake disaster film “San Andreas » (2015), alongside Dwayne Johnson, and in “Hall Pass » (2011), “Texas Chainsaw 3D » (2013), and “Baywatch » (2017).

Daddario is attached to six upcoming productions, “San Andreas 2″ as Blake Gaines, “Can You Keep a Secret?” (pre-production) as Emma Corrigan, “Lost Transmissions” (post-production), “I Am Not a Bird” (post-production), “Nomis (post-production), “We Have Always Lived in the Castle” (post-production).
