The year was 1990. Time Warner is formed from the merger of Time Inc. and Warner Communications Inc. and and Paul Verhoeven shot Total Recall by employing the future governor of Cah-lifornia as his protagonist. SONY PICTURES just released the trailer for Total Recall 2 (lensed by Len Wiseman, who’s co-produced the Underworld series), this time starring Colin Farrell and Kate Beckinsale, and it’s looking really good.
Set for release in August, this second chapter is more a direct screen adaptation of the Philip K. Dick novel than a sequel to the 1990 blockbuster.
