Interesting bit of news out of the tweetosphere today: Bret Easton Ellis, who’s probably the second busiest user of Twitter after worldwide revolutionaries, has mentioned Drive actor Ryan Gosling meeting with Irreversible director Gaspar Noé, possibly concerning shooting the screen adaptation of The Golden Suicides, a Vanity Fair article about the double suicide of artist and socialite Theresa Duncan and Jeremy Blake (pictured). This project was supposed to count Gus Van Sant as helmer but he backed out of it. I don’t know much else besides what’s being talked about in other media — an email to Noé has gone unanswered (will update this article in case more information comes through).
