I’m excited about The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo coming out pretty soon; in case you’ve been living in a cave, American filmmaker David Fincher has audaciously taken up the baton and has directed the American version of the Stieg Larson-novel adaptation by the same name. A few quick facts: Dragon is coming out in December, it was shot in Sweden, and initially Daniel Craig turned the role of Mikael Blomqvist down as he was previously committed to the new James Bond movie. When the production schedule for that fell through, Craig was able to get back on board. By the way, not a bad place to be for Daniel Craig, having the dilemna of choosing between the lead in the next James Bond movie or hotly-anticipated Fincher version of Girl with Dragon Tatoo.
