“I’m Gotham’s reckoning,” the joker (played by Tom Hardy) says under his weird WWII-styled gas mask. That’s enough to make any Marvel Comics fans drunk with joy. A brand-new trailer of The Dark Knight Rises (Warner Brothers) has been released today, sending tremors through Gotham City.

Dark Knight Rises was directed by Christopher Nolan and stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Ann Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Tom Hardy. Its release date is July 20th, 2012.
