Dominic Cooper attached to new project
Londoner Dominic Cooper, the suave and brilliant actor you’ll remember from Devil’s Double, has been attached to a new project called Summer in February, scheduled to start principal photography in January. Summer in February is adapted from the namesake novel by Jonathan Smith and will also star Hattie Morahan, an English actress known there for her extensive television series appearances.
Cooper plays Alfred Munnings, a contemporary English painter who was steadfastly opposed to Modernism and was known for his paintings of horses. In “Summer” Munnings is caught in the center of a love triangle which plays out against the timeless beauty of the Cornish coast as The Great War approaches.
