Sadly we heard that “Eight Mile” actress Brittany Murphy died this morning at her Los Angeles home of an apparent heart attack. Murphy did not have a rewarding private life but she made a number of successful moves in her career. In May 2007, Murphy married screenwriter Simon Monjack in a private Jewish ceremony. In 2005, Murphy signed as the spokesmodel for Jordache jeans. The actress became a household name among teens in 1995 as the sidekick in “Clueless,” who went from awkward wall flower to snotty hottie. Her kind demeanor and on-screen vibrancy will be sorely forgotten. She was still young and had great potential to make a comeback as a Hollywood leading lady.
